We, AI Video Enhancer - Utool, is a Photo & Video editing application offered by Music Video Editor with Effects & Slideshow. Utool attach great importance to users' personal privacy. We strongly advise you to read this policy carefully to fully understand how we use and protect your interests. If you use our app, you agree to abide by these terms. 1. The information you give to us or give us permission to obtain it

• Storage permission

When you want to select the photos or videos or save your completed work, we require storage permission to read and save your work on your device.

• Music and audio permission

When you choose to use local music as background music for your video, we need your permission to access your local audio files. This permission is optional and only to allow you to select audio files stored on your device.

• Cloud processing permission

When you choose to use AI features, we need your permission to upload the videos or images you select and the necessary processing parameters to our servers for processing. This permission is optional and is used solely to provide the specific AI feature you request. We do not share your uploaded videos, images, processing parameters, or AI-generated results with third-party AI service providers, and we do not use them for advertising or profiling. Once processing is completed and the result is returned to you, the uploaded content will be deleted from our servers and will not be stored permanently.

• Network permission

If you want Utool download the material when your device used the "WLAN & Mobile Data". This permission is optional and only used for the function mentioned above. We will not obtain any other information through this permission authorization.

2. The technical information we get, or the third party may get when you use our app

• Facial Recognition and Content Classification

When you use feature(s) such as “Auto”, or any other feature that involves face-related content processing, we may, with your explicit permission, temporarily upload your image or video to our servers and use image recognition technologies (including facial recognition) to determine whether the content contains human figures or faces, in order to optimize the object removal effect.

This data is used solely to deliver the requested functionality. All processing is conducted in a temporary session, and your image, video, and any related data will be immediately deleted after processing. We do not store, reuse, share, or use this data for any unrelated purposes, including identity recognition, advertising, profiling, behavioral analysis, or analytics.

We do not retain or use the content to train any algorithmic models.

If your content includes the facial features of another individual, you are responsible for informing that person and obtaining their valid consent before using such features.

Prior to your first use of such feature(s), we will request your explicit consent through a popup dialog. You may decline to proceed or restrict uploads at any time by disabling media access in your device settings.

• Feedback or Error Reports information

When you opt to email us to send feedback or error reports, we will receive the log data that the system automatically sent to us along with your email address. This log data includes device information, location information and your response. Please rest assured, we will automatically delete this feedback periodically.

• Usage data

We may work with the third parties such as Google Firebase to collect non-identifiable information about your activity on our app, like service-related and performance information. This includes information about how you use our app, the time, frequency, and duration of your activities. Based on the information we collect from your activity, we could analyze usage trends for the services to improve our service.

• The information you provide

When you use some features we provide such as AI Enhancer, we may upload your photos or videos to our server for photo processing, and we will delete your photos or videos in our server as soon as the photos or videos processing is complete. Please note that we do not store your photos or videos, regardless of which photo or video features you use in our application.

• Personalized ads display

We may collaborate with our advertiser, such as Google AdMob, to collect information generated during your use of our products and services, including unique device identification codes and IP addresses, to extract your preferences and use them to show you ads that are more in line with your individual needs.

4. The rights you have about your information

Please rest assured that Google AdMob collects information generated during your use of our products and services, including unique device identification codes and IP addresses, only to extract your preferences and use them to show you ads that are more in line with your individual needs.

The third-party SDKs listed below are used only for the purposes described in this table. They do not receive users’ uploaded videos, images, AI processing parameters, or AI-generated results for AI processing.

Please note that we will only share your information for legal, legitimate, necessary, specific and clear purposes. At the same time, we require third parties to deal with shared information with confidentiality and security measures no less than those required by this policy. Once we discover any violation of dealing with the information, we will terminate the partnership immediately and pursue legal responsibility.

However, please understand that any transmission of information via the internet is not 100% secure. In other words, we can't guarantee that we can protect your information from any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure through our app with error-free.
